Donations

The corporate giving philosophy of Indiana Packers Corporation is to contribute to local, non-profit organizations within Carroll County.  As a member of a rural county with few resources, we feel it is imperative to emphasize support in our immediate community.  Furthermore, it is the philosophy of the Company to assist numerous groups with smaller contributions, rather than make large donations to fewer groups. 

Indiana Packers Corporation has established guidelines to follow when considering eligible organizations due to the frequency and extent of requests. 

Funding Priorities

Indiana Packers Corporation focuses donation efforts in the following areas:

     • Agricultural community;
     • Local charities involved in the community; and
     • Other needs as assessed by Indiana Packers Corporation.

Agricultural community - As part of this community, Indiana Packers focuses donation efforts in this area in order to strengthen industry related organizations.

Local non-profit charities - As a corporate citizen of the Carroll County area, the Company supports local events and charities.

Indiana Packers Corporation supports donations to qualified public charities or private operating foundations.  When evaluating requests, Indiana Packers Corporation will favor organizations whose:

• Needs can be met with Indiana Kitchen products;
• Mission is closely related to the Company’s funding priorities; and
• Programs or activities are based in the Carroll County area. 

Due to increased requests for donations, Indiana Packers Corporation cannot support the following:

     • Individuals (including individual sponsorships and benefit fundraisers);
     • For-profit businesses;
     • Telethons; and
     • Solicitations to advertise.
